Teacher Appreciation Week – Where do I even begin to express my deep appreciation for all that you have done for us this week! Our hearts are full, and we have felt the LOVE from our students and parents! From the red carpet decorations, movie tickets w/popcorn and candy, breakfast tacos, donuts, lunch from Zoe’s, take-home lasagna dinner, Sonic drinks, keepsake books and trophies, to covering lunch/recess duty every day, this has been a remarkable week, and we cannot thank you enough! On top of this there have been flowers, gifts and notes! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showering our teachers…and me…with so many tangible gifts that express your gratitude and appreciation. St. Philip’s students and parents are the BEST, and you have blessed our lives greatly this week!
Lunch Orders – Thank you for placing all lunch orders for the week on Monday. This allows us to communicate early with each of the providers, ensuring that we receive our orders correctly and on time. If orders are placed the day of, unfortunately, I cannot ensure that they will be received and delivered.
Mother’s Day Breakfast – All SPESF mothers are cordially invited to attend our Mother’s Day Breakfast at 8:30 am next Friday morning, 5/11/18. We will provide a light breakfast, and your children have prepared some special performances and treats for you! Hoping to see all of our wonderful mothers!
St. Philip’s Night at the RoughRiders – We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of fun and baseball on Sunday, May 20th! Special thanks to Kimberly Evans for making all of the arrangements for this event. Your child should have brought home a flyer regarding this event and how to purchase tickets, but let us know if you need another copy. I’m planning on being at this one, and I hope to see you there, too!
Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon – If you have volunteered at St. Philip’s in any way this year, you are invited to attend our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, 5/23, at 11:45 am in the Study. We want to show our appreciation for all that you have done for our students and staff this year. In order for us to make sure we adequately plan, please RSVP to let us know if you’ll be attending – firstname.lastname@example.org.
School Records – Many of you have asked, “What will happen to my child’s school records?” I wanted to let you know that those will be given to you at the end of the school year. I’m not sure yet how long I will be here after school is out, and I want to make sure that you have access to anything you might need when enrolling your child in their new school. I will let you know when those are available for pickup, sometime the last week of school. If you know the families of former students, please let them know that they may also request those records by contacting me at email@example.com.
