Spirit Night – Thank you so much to everyone who came out for our last Spirit Night at Panera Bread! I came a little later, so I’m sorry if I missed getting to see you. It looked like we had a great turnout though, and the kids were having a great time! Our parent support and involvement has been one of the most special things about St. Philip’s – you guys are awesome!
NO School on Monday – Don’t forget – Monday is a holiday for students and a work day for teachers. Our teachers will be mapping out the plans for the last five weeks, creating lesson plans, and planning for the End-of-the-Year events and program.
Lunch Orders – Thank you for placing all lunch orders for the week on Monday. This allows us to communicate early with each of the providers, ensuring that we receive our orders correctly and on time. If orders are placed the day of, unfortunately, I cannot ensure that they will be received and delivered.
World Vision’s Global 6K for Water – Just a reminder about this special event on April 28th benefiting World Vision’s efforts to provide clean water for communities in Africa, Haiti, and India. Students brought home registration information and the answers to many FAQ if you are interested in participating. I know they are planning a fun family day at the Frisco High School track.
St. Philip’s Night at the RoughRiders – We do have one more opportunity to all be together, so I hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of fun and baseball! Special thanks to Kimberly Evans for making all of the arrangements for this event. Your child should have brought home a flyer regarding this event and how to purchase tickets, but I will send a copy by email…just in case. I had to miss last year’s event, but I’m planning on being at this one, and I hope to see you there, too!
School Records – Many of you have asked, “What will happen to my child’s school records?” I wanted to let you know that those will be given to you at the end of the school year. I’m not sure yet how long I will be here after school is out, and I want to make sure that you have access to anything you might need when enrolling your child in their new school. I will let you know when those are available for pickup, sometime the last week of school. If you know the families of former students, please let them know that they may also request those records by contacting me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
