Looks like we all survived the Winter of 2018! I love the cold weather, but it will be nice to have a little break from the frigid temps over the next week or so. I know the students will be happy to have outdoor recess back for a while! Of course, we’re all (students AND teachers) still hoping for a little snow before the season is completely gone …there’s always February!
Report Cards – FYI…today your child is bringing home their Report Card for the 2nd Nine Weeks! Please sign and return one copy, and you may keep the other for your own records. Hopefully, there are no surprises, but don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have questions or concerns.
Spirit Night @ Mooyah’s – Join us on Tuesday night for a yummy burger or salad, special time with our St. Philip’s teachers and families, and a night of NO COOKING! We’ll be at the Mooyah’s at Main St. and the Tollway – hope to see you there!
Memory Verse for January: “Don’t ever stop being kind and truthful. Let kindness and truth show in all you do. Write them down in your mind as if on a tablet. Then you will be respected and pleasing to both God and man.” ~ Proverbs 3: 3-4
Quote of the Week: “It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves that make successful human beings.” ~ Ann Landers
Have a great weekend!
