Just a reminder, I will not be at school next week. I have the privilege of traveling with our 5th grade students to Colonial Williamsburg. It’s going to be an amazing trip as we visit Jamestown, Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg and Shirley Plantation. Lifetime memories will be made as we embark on the ultimate field trip for 5th graders studying American history! Please remember…we will not have hot lunches next week. Students will need to bring their lunches every day except Monday, or you are welcome to bring them a lunch, but making this change will simplify the process for our staff in my absence. Thank you for your support, for being flexible, and for understanding the situation!
Exception – lunch will be provided for all students on Monday! Thanks to some generous parents, all students will enjoy a pizza lunch and dessert as we celebrate and honor Mrs. Smith’s son, Marine Sergeant Richard Smith, who will be visiting our school that day.
Next week – We will have a few volunteers helping to man the front desk next week, but if you try calling and don’t reach anyone, please call the church office@ 214-619-5806, and they will deliver any messages to teachers. I would also suggest that you email the teacher.
I will still be checking email, so please send me any additions or changes for aftercare.
Terrific Tuesdays – We will continue to wear SPESF spiritwear on Tuesdays thru the month of March.
Memory Verse for March: “Kindwords are like honey – sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” ~ Proverbs 16: 23-24
Quote of the Week: “It’s not hard to make good decisions once you know what your values are.” ~ Roy E. Disney
Have a great weekend!
