First of all, thank you so much for the great support and generosity shown thru North Texas Giving Day! I love to see the energy and camaraderie that’s created when a group of like-minded people come together for the benefit of children…that is always a reason to celebrate!
Thank you, also, for the great turnout for Curriculum Night! You send a strong message to your children about the importance of education when you participate in events like that. Your investment and interest in what they are learning speaks loudly and hopefully, benefits you, as well! We are blessed to have an outstanding group of educators at St. Philip’s, and I know you enjoyed your time with them. On that note, we are here to assist and support you as parents, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
We have an important request regarding safety and security! Please be sure to let us know when someone different will be picking up your child. We need to have their name so that we can check ID and verify that they are a person designated for pickup. This is especially important for Aftercare, as Mrs. Gupta may not be always be aware. Thank you!
I hope that you are a part of our Facebook class pages! So much learning is occurring, and we don’t want you to miss out on any thing! This week’s learning included:
- Ozobots in our STEM classes with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades
- Place Value in 1st grade
- Using iPads and QR codes in 2nd grade
- Celebrating Dot Day and making our mark on the world in Kinder – 5th
Wishing you a fun and restful weekend!
