Interim Principal Announcement
A message from Father Greg

We have been prayerfully pursuing a qualified and trustworthy leader to serve our school as Interim Principal following Scott Kimball’s resignation this summer. This new leader will build relationships with our school families and new students while supporting our faculty and leading our overall program to higher levels of excellence. I’m happy to announce that our prayers have been generously answered.

Beverly Woodson, esteemed FISD elementary principal has accepted our offer to serve as Interim Principal for this new school year. Her vibrant faith coupled with her impressive educational expertise and experience will resource us to grow and improve our school in dynamic ways.

At Bledsoe Elementary, which she opened in 2005 and served as principal for 10 years, she oversaw a campus of 800 students. Before that, she served as Assistant Principal at Shawnee Trail Elementary in FISD from 2002-2005. Prior to that, she spent 17 years in the classroom, teaching 1st, 3rd and 5th grades in both Frisco and Mesquite. She was also nominated and selected as a finalist for the National Distinguished Principal Award in 2012.

Beverly recently joined our School Board and is up to speed on our mission to grow our student base while clarifying the unique identity of our campus. I can think of no other person better qualified to lead us in this important season.

I’m personally grateful to Kathryn Shirey, our Board President, and Fr. Clayton Elder in their diligent efforts to not only find an adequate leader, but an outstanding leader to lead us into the future.

Join me in welcoming and praying for Beverly and our pre-school and elementary school as we prepare to begin a new year!

Blessings,

Fr. Greg
